The ABS Plastic Butterfly Valve Lock is a safety locking device specifically designed for industrial pipelines and civil facilities. Constructed from high-strength ABS engineering plastic, it is primarily used to secure the operating handle or stem of butterfly valves, preventing unauthorized opening or closing. Its lightweight design, corrosion resistance, and cost-effectiveness make it an ideal choice for applications such as water treatment, food processing, and low-pressure fluid control—especially suited for humid, weakly corrosive environments and budget-conscious users.
- Lightweight & Durable
Made of engineering plastic, it weighs only 1/3 of metal locks, ensuring easy portability and installation. It offers excellent resistance to impact, abrasion, and corrosion, guaranteeing a long service life.
- Corrosion & Rust Resistant
The plastic material is naturally impervious to water, weak acids/alkalis, and salt spray, making it suitable for humid environments (e.g., water treatment plants, food processing workshops) or scenarios with mild chemical contact.
- Insulated Safety
Its non-conductive properties eliminate the risk of electric shock, making it ideal for power facilities, pump stations, and other locations requiring insulation protection.
- Cost-Effective
Significantly more affordable than metal locks, it offers high cost-performance, making it suitable for large-scale purchases or users with budget constraints.
- Strong Adaptability
The universal design fits butterfly valve handles ranging from 8–45mm in width. The adjustable latch ensures a secure fit for different valve brands by adapting to handle thickness.

- Lock Body: One-piece injection-molded construction with a smooth, burr-free surface and internal reinforcing ribs for enhanced structural strength.

- Latch/Pin: An adjustable plastic latch secures the valve handle via a locking mechanism, compatible with various handle sizes.

- Label Area: Some models feature a tag slot for marking warning labels such as "Do Not Operate" or "Under Maintenance."
